Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The Children’s liturgy of the Word operates during the 11 am Mass on a Sundays; except on school holidays and long weekends.

Choir
– Currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
There are about 20 regular members in the choir. They practise each week after the Sunday 9.00 am Mass. In the major seasons of the Church’s calendar, viz. Easter and Christmas extra practice times are arranged. New members and musicians are always welcome.

Gardening
– Currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
A small group of helpers continue to help with keeping the church and parish office surrounds neat, tidy and flourishing. Low key working bees are held on first Saturday morning of every second month.

Knitting Group
– Currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
A group (mainly of ladies) gather on a regular basis in the meeting room at the back of the church to knit a wonderful range of goods which are displayed and offered for sale a few times each year. The proceeds all go to the local conference of St Vincent de Paul.

Seniors Friendship Group

For a number of years now the parish has hosted a gathering for our seniors each Thursday during school terms.

Welcoming Group
– Currently suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
We have a welcoming group in the parish who make contact with new parishioners, and host a cuppa after the two Sunday morning Masses on the first and third weekends of the month – a wonderful opportunity for people to meet and greet.
